Disaster Bay Kelp Farm Proposal

Community Objections Closing Friday 8th May 2026

MAKE A SUBMISSION NOW

Make Your Submission

Submissions are now open to object to the Disaster Bay ‘Eden 1’ kelp farm and will close on Friday 8th May.

Instructions are provided below. Please let us know once you've made your submission and you can be kept updated on any developments.

We need at least 50 objections to get the Independent Planning Commission involved — they have the power to stop the development. Please spread the word to family, friends and visitors to the bay to help reach this target.

Anyone worldwide, of any age (including children) can make a submission.

Thank you for helping protect Disaster Bay — together we can make a difference!
